When creating a new website, or making sure one performs as it should, it sometimes can get a little overwhelming with all these best practices of the what you should and should not do’s of UX design.

I mean seriously, some articles say use the green button, some say use a red button, some say don’t have the call to action at the very top, some say you should have it at the very top. If this sound familiar to you, you need to STOP! for a moment. Now breathe. Optimising a website for online sales doesn’t have to be so intricate and nitty picky. Have you asked yourself first if you have gotten the basics right first?

Look at it simply, an online store isn’t too different from a physical store if you look at it in the bigger picture.
